He works from your photos, at 8.75 inches, in the woods and metals you choose, from mesquite and maple to sterling, brass, and 14K gold.

  • · Finish details: color, sunburst pattern, sparkle, wear or relic marks.
  • · Hardware notes: chrome, nickel, gold, pickup type, tailpiece or vibrato.
  • · Any inlay, pickguard material, or engraving you want carried over.
  • · Woods and metals you want used for the miniature itself.
What He Can and Cannot Do
  • · Every piece is hand-fabricated. Nothing is cast, molded, or 3D printed.
  • · Body shapes, finishes, inlays, and hardware character can be matched closely.
  • · All designs are hand-fabricated originals. Fender-authorized designs are available by name because Rob is authorized by Fender to use the Fender name and logo on his miniature guitar designs.
  • · No working electronics and no playable action. These are 8.75 inch display pieces.
  • · Trademarked logos of other brands are not reproduced.

Can you replicate my exact guitar?+

Usually. Rob hand-builds a miniature guitar replica from photographs of your instrument, matching body shape, finish, and hardware character at 8.75 inches.

What photos do you need?+

Front, back, both sides, the headstock, the bridge and tailpiece, the control layout, and a close-up of any inlay or wear you want carried over.

Can you replicate a famous guitar?+

Rob can build a miniature inspired by a famous instrument. Fender-authorized designs are available by name because Rob is authorized by Fender to use the Fender name and logo on his miniature guitar designs. Other trademarked logos are not reproduced.

What can't be replicated?+

Working electronics, playable action, and factory decals. Every piece is a hand-fabricated original display object, not a scaled functional instrument.

How long does a custom replica take?+

Four to six weeks from confirmed commission to delivery, after a materials consultation.

Do you ship outside the US?+

Yes. Rob ships worldwide, insured for full replacement value. International carriers and customs procedures vary by destination.
